My research applies the insights and methods from public, labor, and urban economics to study questions related to the environment, economic opportunity, and spatial inequality. Much of my current work explores the distributional and labor market consequences of the clean energy transition.

In the Fall of 2024, I am delighted to be joining the faculty at the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics as an Assistant Professor of Economics.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I served as a Senior Research Assistant in the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution and a Research Consultant for the U.S. Climate Initiative at the World Resources Institute. I received an M.P.A. from the University of Washington in 2016, and a B.A. in Political Science and B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont (summa cum laude) in 2012.

I spend most of my leisure time climbing rocks.
